Manila, Philippines (6 June 2023) ­– Cloud technology holds immense untapped potential for businesses undergoing digital transformation, according to Jerameel Azurin, Vice President and Head of Product Management for Cloud Tech Services at ePLDT.

Speaking at the SEIPI Q2 General Membership Meeting, Azurin stressed the importance of adopting a fresh mindset when approaching digital transformation and moving beyond viewing the Cloud as a solution solely for existing issues. One of the key areas Azurin focused on was the integral role of AI in the modern business ecosystem. He highlighted that AI provides businesses with a wide range of services that facilitate informed decision-making, operational optimization, enhanced customer experiences, and ultimately increased revenues. These services encompass advanced capabilities such as natural language processing, image recognition, prediction, and automation.

During his presentation, Azurin also showcased ePLDT as the pioneer and leading data center operator in the Philippines.
