ePLDT adopts its third school in Brigada Eskwela
Since 2013, ePLDT has been committed to improve the education sector by supporting DepEd’s Brigada Eskwela in partnership with the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP). Dubbed as “Take Action for Education,” members of ePLDT took a day out from the office on May 20 to help improve the facilities of Kasarinlan High School in Caloocan City.
Freshly polished floors, newly-painted chalkboard, desks, and door frames will welcome the students once the academic year of 2015-2016 welcomes them in June. The said institution is the third adopted school of ePLDT since it pledged for the annual activity. This is part of ePLDT’s response to the PBSP call of corporate social responsibility that aims to involve private sectors in building a better nation.
